Rev Jack Walker.   Minister.

Jack joined  us on July 1st 2019 after very successful ministries in Leigh Park and Newport Pagnell.

Jack is joined by Jill his wife, and we welcome them to our town and Church! Jack is keen on every aspect of gardening, enjoys the open air areas  and is a 'community person', always prepared to help!

Liverpool FC is his sporting passion after being involved through out his life with coaching and running football Clubs of all ages!


Gordon Hopkins - Church Secretary


Gordon has been a member of the Church for a number of years and elected as Secretary in 2006 and has seen through the different periods of development in the Church. He began serving the Church through music playing the keyboard and leading, and since handing that responsibility over he oversees all aspects of the Administration of the Church, He has been married to Jean for over 54 years, has three children [one in the UK, one in Australia and one in New Zealand!] He has led through local adult football Leagues in difficult times including Walking Football, and having been born in Wolverhampton, is an avid follower of the Wolves!!

Laura Ivey - Treasurer


Laura has served WBC in many capacities over a number of years and now serves as our treasurer.

She is married to David who is one of our techy guys, and Manages the Andover Branch of the Citizens Advice Bureau and has two children.

She enjoys escaping the rat-race whilst walking her two dogs around the Whitchurch open spaces. Keeps a keen interest on the exploits of Southampton FC!

Jon Vears - Leader


Jon originates from Australia but now has a franchise in Miss Daisy in Whitchurch, offering a reliable taxi service to the elderly and infirm, and is passionate about the church being relevant for people who don't yet know Jesus. 

Jon has been happily married to Sue for a number of years.

John Hadley - Leader

John works as a project manager for Hampshire County Council. He is a talented service leader and preacher, married to Rachel with three children all attending the local school. John is keen to make his faith relevant to the local community.
