About Us

We are a church family committed to transformation...

We are an established Baptist Church in Whitchurch, Hampshire, having been around since 1656, although some things have changed over the years!

Our church is made up of people from all walks of life and from many different nations with one common identity, Jesus.  We love diversity and we love to see new people.  We really hope that you will feel right at home.  Our Sunday mornings begin with a warm welcome and an invitation to join in celebrating the good news about Jesus.  Our worship is dynamic and lively with a mix of older hymns and more contemporary songs as we seek to lift up His name together.  We expect God to meet with us and speak to us.

We are a growing church family of about 50 people, aged 0 to 90, who meet Sundays and during the week to encourage and support one another in the best way we can.

As a church we aim to:
  • Share our story of God's love
  • Build one another up in life and faith
  • Create a more just and Christlike world
Whitchurch is a community of around 5000 people.  It is served by two local schools, Whitchurch C of E Primary and Testbourne Community School.  All the churches in Whitchurch work closely together and form Churches Together in Whitchurch.  Churches Together in Whitchurch consists of the Baptist, Anglican, Methodist and the Roman Catholics.

We hope that through praying for and loving our community many people will come to know that love and forgiveness of Jesus that we ourselves have experienced.

"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God." Romans 15:7
